He was a true Patriot! He said that no one could lead a great nation without God and The Bible. His words and actions show that he loved God and his country.

He said in a very important speech called “The President’s Farewell Address,” some very important truths! Your teacher can read his words and explain them to you because they
are big words.

Our President lives in Washington D.C. Show them where the state named Washington is located and where Washington D.C. is located on the U. S. Map. We want them to see that they are in different places.

The President lives in the White House.

He has an office in the Capitol Building.

Little Patriots do their best work. Emphasize the importance of coloring neatly. When they have completed the state, the bird and flower place a gold star on the Capital City. This is the reward for a job well done.

Prayer Target

The Bible teaches us to pray for those in authority over us, so it will go well with you.

Let’s do that now! Let’s target our President, who has authority over us, and let's also target our parents, who have authority over us!

“Father in heaven, I thank You for my parents who love me. Please give them the wisdom to lead me.

I ask for my President to have the wisdom to lead the United States of America!

Amen.
